Terms you may hear from residents of Thist
Sheepsleepers Derogatory term to describe those who think about magic, adventure, or anything other than daily town life. The term originated to denigrate those who would shirk their sheep tending responsibilities to daydream, to fall asleep on the job, risking the sheep. Of course, the other connotation, that it suggests that those called by this name are engaging with unnatural acts with sheep, certainly factors into its popularity.
Twa-Kuul Unknown origin. It is used as a drinking toast, a cry of alarm, a celebratory exclamation, a show of brotherhood & solidarity. A good, all-purpose phrase that is rather unique to Thist.
